Profile Information

About Me
My name is Sonia and I have a granddaughter of celiac seven years, was diagnosed with the disease a year and a half.
The whole family has a genetic positive, but only Iona, has developed the disease.
I think they need celiac laws?
Our children are safe at home while they are small, but they are teenagers?
I am very concerned about the lack of proper labeling, lack of medical protocol, so I think our governments need to include in their priorities celiac disease.
Thank you and forgive the long message

Thanks friend.

Toy of emotion is crying.
Do not know what it means to me that the American celiacs unite and demand for such disclosure as required.
thank you very much on behalf of my granddaughter and six years on my own.
The American celiacs and support are critical to achieving success at international level.

Thank you very much to heart

You can go back to his childhood carrying a gluten-free lunch box menu, you can also limit your lunch pail to salads, grilled steak that if you do not forget to talk beforehand with the chefs in the cafeteria, almost certainly unaware that is cross-contamin… Continue

Sonia ~

Thank you! It was a common phrase used in my home by my mami. I have Celiaca nd so do my children ranging from 12 years old to 25 years old. And I have a grandson too! I have been doing this for about 6 years and it does get a little easier. The US is a horrible place to try and get a gluten-free meal, but it too is getting better. Thanks to labeling laws and stricter guidelines things are progressing. But I still make 99% of all of our food from scratch. Lots of work, but in the end well worth it. I too am on the crusade to promote awareness of this disease. Keep in touch!

Hello Sonia :)
I just remembered , I did contact the Ministry of Health previously along with the Royal Health Awareness Society and got no response from either. I did contact them again now by e-mail and will see what happens next.
Hopefully someone will read and reply!

Take Care
Adios

Hello :)
Well, I have tried to contact some doctors to form an association and one of them was actually interested and worked on it before but faced some obstacles from the government. I will continue trying ... hoping that someone will listen one day! :) I am in contact with supermarkets and some special diet shops. Things are getting better thank God.
But some serious + medical effort must be taken very soon to raise awareness. I will try my best in all what I can do :)
Have a nice day
Keep up the good work!

Hola!

Hi Sonia
MY GASTROINTERIOLOGIST AND ONE PATIENT TRIED TO ESTABLISH ACOMMUNITY FOR CELIACS .BUT NOBODY CO-OPERATED AND .
2- FEW YEARS AGO, YOU CAN GET FREE SUPPLEMENTS LIKE CRACKERS,PASTA,FLOUR ,NOODLES AND WAFERS FROM THE GOVERMENTAL HOSPITALS BUT KNOW WE HAVE TO BUY EVERY THING BY OUR SELVES AND THE FOOD IS SOO EXPENSIVE.
