Does anyone know if the Hintz cappucino caramel mix is gluten free? and what about their cocoa?.This is urgent. We have a mix in the house and I need to find out if it's gluten free before they finish it

- Till now only a couple of CPs. If you know some other CPs please introduce them to us.
Actually my friend have the same problems as you do till now and that's why we are trying to find a way to remove this burden from all CPs in Egypt.
So for now, you can test his flour mix and give us your feedback. You can send me your contacts on celiac.egypt@gmail.com and we can arrange to meet in nasr city and give you the flour.

- Hi Manar,
I'm an Engineer living in Nasr City, and I'm not celiac my self. However, I have a friend who was diagnosed as a celiac patient 2 years ago and he told me how he suffers to get gluten free products in Egypt as you do so I'm trying to help him and all celiac patients to have a continuous source of nice and affordable products.
Till now, we only found the same sources you all know like the ministry of agriculture and the bakery in zamalek as well as the rice pasta in Carrefour and Metro.
However my friend have his own Flour mix which he claims to be delicious as he is a pharmacist and he uses some additions to make it more tasty and elastic.
If we could reach many celiac patients in Egypt and if many people found this mix really nice so we'll produce it in large scale to secure the needs of all celiac patients in Egypt including my friend.
I can ask my friend to send you some of this flour to test free of charge and give us your feedback about it.

- I found an article on Carob (Locust Bean) Gum and from what I can gather, it may work the same as Guar Gum or Xanthan Gum. If you can find it, I would suggest purchasing a small amount and try it. If it works - buy more.

- I don't know if guar gum is called any thing else. I am going to go back through my notes and see if there is anything else that works the same..
