Once you are diagnosed with Celiac, it can be a long road to healing as you experiment with eating certain foods and discover what you can or can't eat. This group is for discussing what has worked for you & hopefully helping others along their way.

Don't Be Afraid To Teach

Recently I was checking out at my local grocery store. The woman that was checking out in front of me had her little girl with her and they were buying some wonderful treats to share at home. The delicious items they had selected to purchase on this excursion to the grocery store were a 2 gallon tub of neon, multi-colored ice cream and two Hostess pies. Mmm-mm! You know, I’ve been enjoying making my own ice cream at home this summer, and you know what? I have yet to figure out how to make it neo… Continue

I am in Tri-Cities, WA. I have friends in Bend visiting this weekend.
I had no idea Bend had a Whole Foods. I guess I don't remember it being that big. We don't even have one here in Tri-Cities ;(
I'll give her a call and let her know they have some there. I'm so excited to have cheese again I can hardly stand it.

Thanks for the reply Cain. I saw they have it at Mother's Market in Hood River. I'm sure my friends will go that direction on the way to Bend, maybe I can talk them in to going there. LOL
Looks like I'm gonna have to head to Portland next time I have a day off.

Teri - Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep my eyes open for them! How did you do at the farmers market in Bend?

Cain, Thanks I sent out samples yesterday. It's funny do you know Connie Walsh from Bend?
Her husband is a Celiac from there. I had a lady doing the farmers market in that area a couple of years back with our products.
My mom is retired in Brookings and has pushed our products there.
Hope you enjoy. Thanks Teri
