- I don't know if it would be considered neurological but I had periods of time (just prior to my diagnoses) when I wouldn't know where I was, and I wouldn't recognise people that I knew. These periods lasted anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours. Because of these "spells" I was off work for a year.
