BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse -- who just launched a gluten-free menu and has locations in 13 states, including Washington and Oregon -- is running a special "Gluten Free Party for Two" promotion through September 30 that includes 2 Salads (House, Caesar, or Wedge), a Gluten-Free Pizza, and 2 Root Beer Floats.

I haven't tried Seasons and Regions yet myself, but have heard from others that it's very good. Tonight I'm going to try Del Inti, a Peruvian restaurant on NE Alberta. The founder of this rest came from Andina's, a very good restaurant in SW PDX that is recommended by our local GIG.

July's Featured Review is now posted on GlutenFreeTravelSite's Featured Review page. Our winning reviewer for this month shared his experience at Seasons and Regions Seafood Grill in Portland, Oregon, where he had, "one of the most delicious gluten-free dinners he's ever had at a restaurant."

I ate at Cafe Flora and it was delicious. You have to be careful though. Many of the GF items are made on shared tools with the gluten items. You must make sure that you get the items that are made separately. But I would recommend this restaurant!

Hi Aimee, sorry, I didn't see your post. Yes the clam chowder is always Gf. They have salads. But I didn't check on much else.

I live in Vancouver Washington. There is a lovely GF store here called Lingonberries: http://lingonberriesmarket.com/. The people there are very helpful and the selection is huge! It was so nice to walk into a store where I knew I could eat anythingI bought there.

I just came back from my 1st visit to the Long beach Peninsula. I was windy, but I think that's the norm there. Mostly I cooked our meals, but went out for lunch in Long Beach and ate at Dooger's Seafood and Grill.
The clam chowder was probably the best I've ever had and was gluten free with lots of clams! I highly recommend it. AS I was walking to the beach from Doogers on Sid Synder Street, in a small strip mall, I found an Organic Market that carries lots of gluten freee foods. I didn't need anything, but thought I would pass that on to others.

Now that the rain is stopping, every weekend is precious. Nonetheless if you want to learn to make great GF sourdough bread, it's worth your time to spend one Saturday (May 15) indoors. That's the day I'm bringing my breadmaking workshop to Camas, WA. You can see more at my site, . Or contact me. Here's a shot of a recent product:
