Gluten-Free Faces

Teri
and the great people at Mixes from the Heartland recently sent me some
of their products to try out.  The first one that I tried was their Beef Skillet Dinner Meal
The first thing that I took notice of was the packaging.  MFTH packages
their gluten-free products in a very unique way, so that you have the
ability to see what's inside!  I have been "duped" by a few companies
in the past that have delicious looking pictures of their products on
the outside, then once you open up the package, you are left
disheartened and unsatisfied.  But with Mixes from the Heartland, you
can see the contents of their products, which immediately gained my
trust and approval.

Following the directions on the package, I browned 1 lb. of ground beef
(in this case, I used turkey beef) and drained the grease. Then, in a
large pan, added 3-1/2 cups
water, meat and the dry mix. then brought the mix to a boil and cooked
it on medium
heat until pasta was tender. Then, I added 2 of Prego Traditional
spaghetti sauce
and cooked for 5 more minutes.

The end result was an absolutely delicious dish that took only 15
minutes to prepare!  The beauty of this dish is that it's fast, easy,
healthy and can feed up to 6 people.  I shared the dinner with my
girlfriend and two roommates, whom are all not gluten-free, and they
all absolutely loved it.  In fact, I had to fight them off for seconds!

I would highly recommend this dish for a quick, easy and tasty meal for the entire family.
