Saw there are some new products they make a pancake mix and a brownie mix. Got the chance to sample the pancake mix and it was pretty good tasted like a regular pancake should and wasn't with a funky after taste that some GF foods have. Looking forward to trying the brownie mix and see how that goes. Has anyone else tried any of the Better Batter Products? If so what do you think of them ? is there a better pancake and brownie mix out there? Love to hear what you think and your responces

I haven't tried Better batter products yet, and hope to soon. However, another good product is Namaste mixes. My host family at college and I have gluten-free brownies when I visit them and nobody can tell the difference

Hey everyone I tried better batter brownies and they were delicious. the package made a 13x9 pan that excited my family because most batter mixes are so small that i usually have to buy two mixes to make a large pan. This one cost me less and it was great. I live in Naperville; so I get mine at fruitful yield or Wild Bran. BTW my kids and their friends cannot tell they are gluten free. Yahoo. Also check out Udis bread at fruitful yield. That bread is the bomb at my house. It is kind of small but taste so good.

I think you would like the better batter products. Never tried the Namaste mixes what kinds do they have? GF brownies are always good and I can't tell the difference.

I've had good luck with all the Namaste Products I have tried--Chocolate Cake, Spice Cake, Brownies, Pizza Crust. They also have muffin mix and I think bread mix, but I haven't tried those yet. I have never been a huge mix fan in the past, just because I like making things from scratch, but with gluten free sometimes it's nice to just have those ready. And they are delicious!

Its alway nice to be able to make things from scratch when you can but I have found being GF that it can be expensive to do certain things from scratch. Somethings I have found are easy to make and other things a mix is really helpful to use. I am excited for the Gf expo in Chicago coming up and the chance to try some of the new GF products. Will be sure and let you know of any good ones worth trying out.

Better Batter has a gluten free flour mix that has everything in it--including the xanthan gum! So easy to use and the price is less than if you bought all the ingredients and mixed them yourself. If you liked the pancakes and brownies, you will enjoy using this flour. The web site www.betterbatter.org has over 100 recipes. I've only tried a few and there were really, really good.
