I have not heard about either of those particular resorts, but there are a variety of reviews of resorts in Mexico on the following page of our site: http://glutenfreetravelsite.com/index2.php?item_id=74

Karen, I have timeshares at Palace resorts as well as El Cid resorts, both in Cancun, or Riviera Maya. I hear they both have gluten free options but am still concerned that they understand the importance of keeping it totally GF. Have you heard any word from either of these resorts? I am planning at one trip before summer (hopefully).

We received a glowing review of Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa on GlutenFreeTravelSite. The woman who reviewed the resort had a wonderful experience dining gluten-free during her stay. So if you're thinking of making last minute plans for a Spring vacation, it might be a destination to consider...

For anyone traveling to the Orlando area, I just learned of a new service by a company called Gluten Free Delivery Orlando. They will provide free delivery of 2-day, 4-day, or 7-day packages of gluten-free foods to people traveling to the area. Their prices seem fair, and each "day" of food for one person includes enough food for a full breakfast (including fruit, juice, coffee, and milk), lunch, and plentiful snacks. It's cheaper and more reliable than eating out, and the only meal you'll need to plan is dinner! Visit their website for more details if your travels will be taking you there.

A new restaurant has been added to the growing lists of restaurants with gluten-free menus featured on the Gluten Free Restaurant Menus page of our site ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com/restaurants ). The restaurant is Fresh 2 Order, with locations in Georgia and Tennessee. They have partnered with us to offer a special discount for visitors to our site. Go to their page on our site ( http://glutenfreetravelsite.com/restaurants/gfmenu_fresh2order.php ), click on the Coupons button, and print the page. You'll save 15% if you dine before 5 pm and 20% if you dine after 5 pm. The coupon is good for the entire month of March. Feel free to forward the coupon link to your friends...you can even share it through Facebook, Twitter or through this site!

We just got word that NIght and Day Travel and Cruises in Portland has put together a Gluten-Free Alaskan cruise on Holland American's Zaandam for a week starting August 27. It departs from Seattle and stops in Juneau, Glacier Bay, Sitka, Ketchikan, and Victoria. It's a fundraiser to benefit GIG of Portland. Hi everyone...I just wanted to update you on an important new enhancement to GlutenFreeTravelSite ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com ). In addition to a streamlined new home page, we have added the ability to search our database of over 800 gluten-free dining and travel reviews by town/city or zip code. The results come up on a Google map, and you can click on any establishment to read the user-submitted review.

To try it out, you can go to Search Reviews ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com/search.php ), choose a broad geographic location, and then click on the "narrow your search" link OR you can go directly to the mapping page at ( http://glutenfreetravelsite.com/maps/map-locator.php ).

We are proud to be the only review-focused site where you can get personal, detailed feedback on some of the world's most Celiac-friendly restaurants, grocery stores, hotels/resorts, and cruises. And you won't just find the "same old" list of chain restaurants you find on other sites. Most places reviewed are independent restaurants, stores, and even B&B's you may not have even heard about.

There IS one way you can help us...please submit your own gluten-free dining reviews of your favorite local places -- or places you've traveled. That way, we can continue to help others on gluten-free diets find new and safe places to eat.

Hi everyone. Glad to see we have some members of this great GF Group. I promise to be better about updating the group on significant events at GlutenFreeTravelSite. If you haven't already heard, Florida was the winner of our second annual contest to find the "World's Most Celiac-Friendly Destination," based on the fact that we received more reviews of this geographic location than any other over the past year on GlutenFreeTravelSite.com. There were a particularly large number of reviews submitted for the Disney parks, resorts, and restaurants. But the greater Orlando area -- as well as most other big towns/cities in Florida also rank high in terms of how friendly they are to gluten-free diners, due to the wide array of regional and national restaurant chains located throughout Florida that now offer gluten-free menus. Read Florida reviews, Search Travel and Dining Reviews for anywhere in the world, and check out the Gluten Free Restaurant Menus page for some of the best regional and national restaurant chains offering gluten free menus.
