Comment by Karen Broussard on May 4, 2012 at 7:55am Don't miss this month's Featured Review on GlutenFreeTravelSite. We showcase a 100% gluten free bakery cafe outside of Boston. They offer a huge array of gluten free baked treats -- as well as savory items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wish EVERY town had a place like this!! Do you have a favorite spot like this near you? If so, please share with the Celiac community by posting a review on GlutenFreeTravelSite! Thanks!

Thanks Karen, I got engaged in October but we are just starting to look at honeymoon stuff!
Comment by Karen Broussard on April 19, 2012 at 11:22am Georgianna, Congrats -- did you just get engaged? I would recommend checking out our Caribbean page of reviews on GlutenFreeTravelSite if you're interested in a cruise for your honeymoon. There are a lot of reviews of different cruise lines -- and most are favorable. I'd recommend using a travel agent who has helped a lot of gluten-free travelers using GlutenFreeTravelSite. Her name is Lesley Hayden, and her number is 800-487-6110. She's with Travel Leaders agency. She is very personal, professional, and service oriented. Many times she will also save you money b/c she knows of all sorts of deals. So I'd probably use her no matter where you go. It doesn't cost anything either. And certainly she'll save you a lot of legwork and time. If you are looking for something more extravagant and distant, Vanessa Maltin Weisbrod, Exec Editor of Delight Gluten Free magazine took a honeymoon to Thailand a couple years ago. We featured her story on GlutenFreeTravelSite -- you can read about it here. Apparently, the resort was fantastic. There are some nice European reviews on our site as well -- I'd just avoid Paris, to be honest. We vacationed there exactly a year ago. Had a fantastic time...it was just difficult from a GF perspective. Oh -- one final thought: Hawaii (specifically Kauai). I've heard the Hyatt Regency there is phenomenal...GF options on EVERY restaurant in the hotel -- and judging from the reviews on our Hawaii page on our site, the island of Kauai is very GF-friendly as a whole. I'll be in touch if I think of more ideas...but let me know if you've narrowed down your search to a particular type of honeymoon. Good luck, and again...congrats!
Hello all! Any suggestions for unique and inexpensive gluten free honeymoon trips? We would be coming from NY and don't want the same old traditional locations.
Comment by Karen Broussard on April 19, 2012 at 10:52am New Blog post about additions to Biaggi's Gluten Free Menu. This is among the very best Gluten Free Menus out there, so if you haven't heard of Biaggi's, be sure to read this post...and see if they have a location near you -- or someplace you travel. Dining there will be one of the highlights of your trip! They have locations in 12 states.
Comment by Karen Broussard on April 17, 2012 at 9:22am New Featured Review posted on GlutenFreeTravelSite...a true western DUDE RANCH which does a superb job accommodating its gluten-free guests!
Comment by Karen Broussard on April 17, 2012 at 9:21am New Blog post about a regional regional restaurant chain with a decadent new GF dessert -- and an overall great Gluten Free Menu. In fact, there are a lot of interesting new Blog posts you may have missed on our Gluten Free Travel Blog, including one about a popular "cleanse" detox diet I followed for 10 days recently. A GREAT experience that I encourage everyone to consider...
Comment by Karen Broussard on March 7, 2012 at 7:02am Interested in hearing about Gluten-Free Cruising -- and one particular cruise line that consistently gets positive reviews on GlutenFreeTravelSite? See our latest Blog post! I'd also be interested in hearing if YOU have personally had a positive or negative experience dining GF on a cruise. Thanks!
Comment by Karen Broussard on January 31, 2012 at 8:51am This month we are showcasing a review of a restaurant in CSA's hometown, Omaha, as our Featured Review of the month. Be sure to read this fantastic review of Lazlo's Brewery and Grill, submitted by a woman with Celiac who has eaten there once a week for the past 9 months!
