Ok, here are my favorites...
INA's once a month (2nd Wednesday of the month) GF, CF, egg free fried chicken to die for...
BOKA - call in advance and let Chef Giuseppe know your allergens and he will make you an amazing meal.
CARNIVALE - Lots of dishes on this menu are easily made allergen free, the staff and kitchen are super accomodating
I agree with Miller for great Italian - you must visit Da Luciano's
Please share more, we all learn together!

Hey folks...would love it if you'd all post reviews of some of these great places in Chicago on GlutenFreeTravelSite.com ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com ). We have a contest running through the end of December...whichever geographic location to receive the most review submissions will be dubbed "The World's Most Celiac-Friendly Destination." (Last year it was New York.) Please consider taking just a few minutes to submit a review...Celiacs living in and traveling to Chicago will benefit greatly from your feedback, and the Chicago-area restaurants that accommodate gluten-free diners will thank you for helping them spread the word as well. Just click on Submit Review from the orange menu bar, or go directly to ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com/submit.php ). Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

"Rose's Wheat-Free Bakery" in Evanston, on Central Ave, not far from Old Orchard mall. It is gluten-free as well. They have an eat-in area that serves great burgers, chicken sandwiches and pizza. They also have plenty of sweets, some made with agave nectar and vegan ones. They also have loaves of various breads for sale daily.

Many times Mexican restaurants are excellent choices too and I'm finding more pizza places offering gluten-free. Uno's and Father and Son/Marcello's gf pizzas are ok. I can't wait to try DaLucianos!

Thanks!

I agree with most of you!

I love the Pizza from Roses, the tiramisu from DaLucianos!

We like eating at Roti Mediterranean Grill and Walker Brothers Pancake House. Although we've been to WB about 6 time in the past 6 weeks and the service regarding gf items has been hit or miss. I have started telling the hostess that I want the manager to take my order and I feel more confident about getting the right pancakes.

I just had the most fabulous gluten free dinner at Palermo's in Orland Park last night. They have a huge selection of gluten free entrees...lots of pastas dishes. All were amazing! http://www.palermochicago.com/Gluten_Free.html

It's well worth the trip out there if you aren't already on the southside of Chicago!

I have to say, I just had such a wonderful dining experience at wildfire in oakbrook. I made our reservation and noted that I would be dining gluten free, when I walked in the immediately grabbed the gluten free menu without me asking and sat us. I LOVED having a beer while out to dinner, and eating the same food as my husband. What WOW'd me was that the executive chef came out and brought me gluten free bread! It was such a nice added bonus, and made me feel NORMAL, he came back to check on my and gave me the recipe for the bread. I highly recommend dining there!!!
