Looks yummy! Question? Corn Tortillas, do you have to find ones that are especially GF, I had thought you could buy any ones on the shelf. Is it the cross contamination that is the worry? And mayo, what is in mayo that makes a difference in it being GF?

@ Tehara-I have found one brand that had wheat flour in it, I would guess to keep them seperated, but in general, corn tortillas, as far as I know, are GF unless otherwise listed on the package/ingredients. Yes, for the cross contamination though, some are made on lines that process other stuff from what I understand. I actually found a brand that used MSG and soy sauce in it! YUCK-but you never know. They put crazy stuff into EVERYTHING hoping to boost the flavor or to stretch the buck.

The soy sauce/MSG was the mayo!!

@Tehara - Sorry for the delay responding to your question! I have been extremely busy and unable to get much time online the last couple weeks! In theory, all corn tortillas should be GF, however, as Lori mentioned, there are some brands that may contain wheat and there are other brands that are produced in the same facility as wheat products. I use Food For Life brand simply because they taste awesome and I trust that they are GF.

I don't care for mayo, but these otherwise look VERY yummy. Can anybody suggest a substitute?
