Celiacs Disease and Abnormal Pap Smear
I was wondering if anyone had any information on Celiac Disease and having abnormal pap smears? Or if there was any information on pap smears and celiacs in general?

I didnt find anything about a direct link, however I did find that a deficiency in Vitamin B-12 can be the cause of abnormal paps and since those with celiac usually have a absorption problem with certain vitamins, like B-12- that could be the link.

I don't know if the two are related but I can tell you I rarely have a normal pap. It's always abnormal and I have to go back in 6 months. That one usually comes out fine. My dr is never concerned. They have never found a problem that has to be dealt with. I just never have a normal first test.
